Always so fun to meet up again! It’s been awhile since we’ve done photos of everyone, and not just the girls, so it was great to get the whole family into the pictures again. We were lucky enough to get a sunny, though cold day, in California and met at a local park, which meant some fun playtime for the girls at the end of our session.

I’m a big fan of this family! I’ve known her since Kindergarten, him since high school, was in their wedding and have enjoyed watching them be parents. We spent part of our time just catching up between photos and it was awesome to chat with them, as always. They were troopers and all braved the heat wave with me for this great set of photos. I also appreciated that they decided to choose casual clothes for their photos, giving the whole session a relaxed feeling.

When I got in contact with this family, it was for newborn photos since Kristina was so close to her due date. Luckily, things worked out to squeeze in a maternity shoot and I couldn’t have been happier. I got to spend time getting to know this family of three, before they welcomed a new little brother. It was a beautiful morning in public garden space, with some great people. Chad and Kristina are so easy to talk to (not to mention natural in front of the camera), and it felt more like hanging out with new friends than anything else. Excited to meet your new little one!

Little Emma has turned one! You may remember her from her newborn session, http://www.fayechamplinstudio.com/newborn-photos-emma/. I really enjoy photographing children as they grow up, seeing how they change and watching their personalities grow and shine through. Taking Emma’s photos in a park was fun, because we also got to play a bit. She also got a sweet treat of chocolate cake at the end of our session.
