Etsy: Screenprint Christmas Towels

I always appreciate subtle touches of Christmas decoration throughout peoples’ homes during the holiday season. With that in mind, I screen printed some brand new tea towels for my Etsy shop. Both designs are currently available in limited quantities.

Spreading a little holiday cheer with screen printing! I have so many ideas for cards this year, so I decided to design and print multiple sets and make them available in my Etsy shop. There’s a mix of traditional and modern, hopefully something to make everyone smile.

Baby Shower Invitation: Sam & Wendi

Remember these two? They’ll soon be a family of three! A little one is on her way to join their family, and I get to host a baby shower for them. Sam & Wendi share a love of music, so I decided to use a vintage record design as my inspiration for the invitation. The nursery will be painted a sage green, so I decided to use that color for the invitation as well. Excited to celebrate with them!

A new set of cards is now available in my Etsy shop! Inspired by my husband’s love of vinyl, I had fun designing these (the “You’re Great” gold card is specifically designed with him in mind). I’m also trying to expand my card offerings, so I’ve added new baby cards to the mix! Pick one up for someone special you know!

Etsy: Geometric / New screen printed scarves

Newly designed and freshly printed scarves have been added to my Etsy shop, this time going geometric with a bold triangle print. Get yours in a variety of color combinations! One of my friends suggested this design and I’m happy to add it to my collection.

Baby Shower Invitation: Renee

One of my absolute favorite things is celebrating with close friends. In this case, a new baby is joining the Deese family and I got to design and print invitations for the party. The theme chosen by the hostesses was “Welcome to the World” since the future nursery will be travel & map themed. I have fun spoiling my friends a bit, so I put some extra touches into this one, including map stickers and calligraphy for the envelopes, and matched the invitation set color scheme to the baby’s nursery. I am so excited to meet this little one!

Wedding Invitation: Shauna & Steve

This wedding invitation came together beautifully. It is definitely the most involved piece I’ve ever had the pleasure to design – letterpress printing, digital printing, handwritten calligraphy, wax seals and mounted photos (from their engagement session) were all just steps in the process to get to the final mailed piece. The bride and groom (friends of mine) also helped during printing and assembly, since the final piece was so complex.

For the design, the bride and the groom defined the style as “retro romantic” and wanted something that fit their wedding location, The Claremont Resort in Berkeley, CA. We ended up with a design that is clean and elegant, with a bit of art deco influence.

Bridal Shower Invitation: Shauna

The artwork inspiration for these screen printed invitations reflects the bride-to-be’s appreciation of pin-up artwork, which turned out to be a fun theme for a bridal shower.

Her absolute favorite color is pink, so I decided to turn it up a notch – to some nice fluorescent pink. An equally awesome color had to be found to hold up to such a hot color, so I chose to balance it with metallic gold. Even the envelopes sported a little bit of fanciness, hand-written calligraphy in gold ink.
