I had the pleasure of returning to this beautiful old home in the Oakland, CA hills to do a new set of photos. Since I visited last time, a lot of time and effort has gone into making the rooms and common areas of this bed and breakfast more beautiful and welcoming for guests. I’m choosing to share my favorite photos, that show all the natural light and details that make this 1890s house a lovely space.

This photoshoot was for a place, not a person, but there is still a story to share. This old building has some beautiful details that I was happy to capture. Taking pictures of a place is a solitary thing and I took my time, wandering through the rooms and down the halls, finding the things that make this place so unique.
